Review of chapter "Handle ID Slayer" from purrfus
Review:
I've read a few Doom crossovers before, but I finally saw the movie this weekend and decided to look and see what TtH had.

The first chapter is great, and I am so glad the story is complete and I can read it all at once.

Review of chapter "Happily Ever After?" from Copper
Review:
So... because of this series I actually watched the movie tonight... which lead to rereading the series. It's very circular. I kept thinking about how much better it would have been if Buffy had been there especially when they got back to the Ark and Sarge lost it. It's still odd to think of Buffy with Xander's son but I do still think this is an excellent series and I'm looking forward to more of the next part whenever you're so inspired.

Review:
Not so fond of "Doom", but I very much enjoyed this story. Buffy and Xander's son, eh? Xander must be pleased, proud and ever so slightly jealous up there in heaven.

Thanks for sharing this. :-)

Review:
it's interesting so keep it up, does 'imperfect copy' mean that all the patentiols after buffy didn't have the exact same copy of c24 and does that make her stronger than them.
Comments from author:
Glad you're enjoying the story!

"Imperfect copy" more or less means that all potentials, ever, are given a corrupted copy of C24 when they become Slayers. Something to do with the original process the Shadow Men used to transfer the "essence of the demon" into the First Slayer. I kind of hinted at the beginning of the story that the reason Buffy's so much stronger than the other Slayers now (and very long-lived) has to do with the combinations of spells she was affected by the last couple of years in Sunnydale: the resurrection, the Calling of the Slayers, whatever it was Spike's amulet was putting out when she clasped his hand, and it ended up "fixing" or "purifying" her copy of C24.

(In the background for this that I never actually put on paper, that's what the Shadow Men wanted to do in the first place when Buffy went back to them using Wood's mom's Emergency Kit. They wanted to fix the problems that had occurred when they empowered the First Slayer. Buffy spurned that, not understanding what they meant, since obviously they didn't know the modern or scientific words to explain it-- but ironically, she ended up gaining the benefits anyway).

Mildly ironic of you to leave that comment in a private review that no one else can see but me. =)

Glad you're still following the story! It should be over soon; only a couple chapters more.

Review of chapter "Final Confrontation" from LadyFoxFire
Review:
Grrrrr Evil Cliffie. Is it safe to assume that Sam will now inject C24 into Reaper? And will Reaper and Buffy get together? And witll Buffy tell Reaper and Sam the truth about their parents and about Buffy herself?
Comments from author:
Those last two questions are pretty much the entire reason I continued this fic after the first one-shot chapter, so... =)

Review of chapter "Final Confrontation" from Demongirl
Review:
Well, I'm kind of glad that The Kid didn't go out the way he did in the movie. I mean, Sarge shooting him in the throat? Yee-owch, and very disappointing. There was a chance he would've survived had Sarge not gone psycho.
Comments from author:
Yeah, I know. Sarge had a very rigid mindset, and something about the beasties on Mars broke him; he kept retreating further and further into his code of rules, and forget anything that threatened that.

I was tempted to keep Kid safe in this fic, but I realized about half-way through that if only Goat, Portman and Pinky died outside of the original scientists, it kind of cheapened the impact of the terrible things the company had done. There had to be a younger, more innocent casualty of the catastrophe to put a face on the consequences. Which, you know, may be overthinking it for such a popcorn action movie, but this is me we're talking about. =)

Review:
Oh, this is wicked cool. I love how it seems Sam and Reaper (or at least Sam) don't realise that Buffy's been guarding them for a while. Looking forward to updates.
