Very nice, and I am f'sure looking for more on this one.
Only issue I have is that I don't see how the Slayer we know and love (B or F, presumably), is going to be that old AND be the same (or a similarly) character.

Interesting idea - any thoughts to continue it with a longer sequel? And, er, minor nitpick...I believe you mean "Gallic," not "Gaelic." Not to imply that the Scots aren't devilishly insouciant in their own special way, but JC probably identifies more with Gaul :-)

You've got a good story here. Have you thought of writing a sequel or three? Maybe the Mother of all Darkness was alive during the time of the Slayer, and they are of roughly equal power? :)

Well, that would be telling ;-) but it's safe to say that the waking of the Mother of all darkness would definitely count on the Slayers threat meter.
