Heh, what I'd like to see here would be two or three lines from the roc's point of view leading up to the attack.

You did notice the 'not to be taken seriously' line in the summary?
It's just a pun. A play on words based on Spike's lines to Angelus when Acathla is brought to the mansion in "Becoming Part 1". That's all.
