Review of chapter "DONUTS AND REGRETS" from Fayari
Review:
Yeah, well Xander is grieving the loss of Anya, looking for a person to blame, and Faith was a total bitch who turned on them all and tried to strangle him. I'm pretty sure he's allowed to think about why Faith should be given a second chance while Anya has to die.
Comments from author:
I'm not really writing about why Xander should blame Faith and I hope I don't give the impression he does. When he brings up (and keeps bringing up) the matter of Faith and the Mayor he's being genuinely clueless.
I felt the person he would blame most for Anya's death would be himself.
A wonderful what-if :) Any chance of a sequel/some more drabbles showing the AUverse? Or the consequences of the second W?
Comments from author:
Thanks for the kind words but no: I think if I went on the AU would become a bit too Mary Sue-ish. Perhaps one day I'll write more about what I thnk was going on behind Uncle Janos' strange behaviour or the origins of the Watchers and Guardians but probably in the main universe.

If Dawn always existed, the Key would always have been her. The Monks would never have the Key on their hands, if it was masquerading as Buffy's sister. Which would mean that Glory would never attack their order, so the spell that created Dawn was never cast. This means that Dawn never existed, which lets the Key stay with the Monks, until Glory's appearance forces their hand..
And my head hurts.
An awesome story, on the other hand, a delightful read.
Thanks for writing!

Great story! I loved almost everything about it except Buffy's opinion on Spike. He really loved her in his own twisted way and he died for her and saved the world and I think he deserved more than what she told them.
Comments from author:
That wasn't Buffy's opinion of Spike. That was Buffy's opinion of what to do about Spike. She is the Slayer and can be brutally realistic about things. Look at Season 8 (the comic book) where she just killed a future evil Willow.
I don't believe she would risk the future of the world because her Spike came be a person worthy of her love.
