Nice to see this again - just reread the whole story, still enjoying it a lot.
Let's see - in Angel terms we're probably in the hiatus between seasons 2 and 3 now, with Angel in Tibet and eventually Holtz coming up as the main big bad. Unlikely any of that will impact New York. However Harmony is on the run after Disharmony, no telling where she might end up before heading back to LA...
I wonder what sort of trail Angel left when he was living in New York in the 1920s(?), and if Kate or the Ghostbusters will come across it?

I'm still following this story. Sorry that I diodn;t reply sooner, but I kept delaying saving it for later. Not much to review on as I didn't notice a lot happening in the story (unlike some other reviewers appearently ;-) )but I feel it's setting something up so I'm happy for that. and even if it's not, glad to see Kate isn't forgotten.
As for the contents, Coffee and Mocha both being from South America and a Toltec or Atzec priest demanding a vampire while holding an obsidian dagger, well, it all adds up to some of the true nastiness of their sacrifice-driven theology.
Comments from author:
... but Kate has spent her entire life as not a Slayer. And she would have noticed if she was suddenly about ten times stronger.
Yes, the Toltec/Aztec religions did offer more than chocolate products to their gods.
The questions now become a) was it more than just a dream? and b) does Kate think it was more than just a strange dream?
hmmmm.... how many Slayers do you think would trade a vampire for chocolate? Even to a guy with a knife?
