It's interesting, but the explanation about why wands was a big negative for me.
Would have rather she get the wand because that's how they teach the spells, and Willow uses it until she can figure out how to cast them wandlessly. Say the wand started as a training aide, or to help with more difficult/powerful spells, and became a crutch, or became so ingrained into the spellcasting process or something.

Willow snickered raising her head “The whole ‘thou shalt not suffer a witch to live’ stuff huh the saying was changed i not sure when but it was originally thou shalt not suffer a bad user of magic basically anyone who uses magic to cause harm to people. people who healed or helped in anyway were ok. the thou shall was changed for very dumb reasons.

I loved this story and hope to see more in the future. But one thing at the end the names of the fallen I would think that Jenny Calender would be listed near the top also she was the first person they lost.

Interesting idea, I’ll give you that; the various groups that each member of the Scoobies was sent to for ‘training’ all made sense, and you included some rather interesting ideas about how things came together, such as the idea that wands are used to limit the potential of addiction to darker magical energies, or Buffy and Lara discovering a connection between the Amazons and the Slayers.

Lara and Bryce watched first with amusement, then with slowly dawning horror as they realized she was completely unaware she had already been killed four times.

This is a failure on Lara's part not Buffy's as she failed to explain the rules of the "Game" to Buffy. It's Lara's game room after all, how could Buffy know about the darts and paintballs being 'deadly'.

Just re-reading this amazing story. I LOVE Rainbow Six crossovers with Buffy. I still chuckle everytime when Luna tells the madness "No." And the ending makes me cry every single time. Such a fantastic, moving story. :)

I loved this fic and am happy for any accolades that it has received.
I have to admit that I was a bit confused about the flemslash award, because Willow being involved romantically with a woman isn't slash, but after a bit of thought I realized it could be slash from Luna's POV. I guess in my brain I just thought that Luna was such a minor character in HP that her sexuality was never totally established.
(Shrug)
Anyway, you have deserved all of the praise you have received and more.
