So, I remember reading this a long time ago and thinking 'damn, I wish there was more'. It was just as fun the next time and I'm thinking along the same lines. The Illyria thing is... distracting and not in the ooh two girls making out way, but in the annoying jock shooting spitballs way.

Continue please. Because the idea of Dawn/Rogue put me in happy place. Same with Dawn/Cuckoos. And just wondering is this Rogue who been adopted by Mystique or the Movie Rogue?

The D'Ancanto part flags it as movieverse; the Marvel writers were so annoyed with the fact that the movie tried to name here that they specifically added a non-Rogue Marie D'Ancanto as a way of "proving" that wasn't her name. Because there's never been two people alive with the same name before ever and all that. Yeah.

This is one of the strangest pairings I've seen so far, but you seem to have made it workable. This story reminded me of the X-men comic books I read as a pre-teenager like 40+ years ago, and the movie which was very good for the time. Not gonna beg for an update since it's been four almost five years since the last one. It's no wonder most of the stories on this site are unfinished, hell even the moderators don't finish their stories. I think you are the third one I've found. What there is of this story is good.

Wow, I'm getting on a roll here - another review!
So I like this story (otherwise I probably wouldn't be reviewing... this makes me consider the wisdom of reviewing in the middle of the night). It's good, with a solid plot and well-developed characters. Nothing much has happened other than the expected, but it's going well. Obviously, it hasn't been updated in some time, but that doesn't bother me that much. There are other stories I'd ratehr you update - unless you've only got one or two more chapters of this, in which case it would be nice if you finish. But if not, then no rush.
Dawn-Oriens was a nice idea. And hooking up with rogue was also fun. Illyria/Phoenix is also good. The rest of the characters seem rather irrelevant. In fact I'm not sure where you're oging with this fic. Other than Rogue and Dawn developing their relationship, there's not much to currently do. So where were you planning to go? Because if that was it, you might as well wrap it up and say it's complete.
Or at least, that's my thoughts. Do what you want, I guess. until the next chapter, Meneldur.
