I like!! And the mention of Buffy was great, as was Jimmy's reaction to Cat stripping in the Planet!

Buffy began around the time Lois and Clark ended, seemed like a good idea. Jimmy is the Xander of the L&C universe.

That would be such an awesome story, "Immortal Batman".

It's one of several ideas I want to write up if I can have time to do it justice, but at the moment I'm just too busy.

I have just reread this story and I still hope that you will get inspired to write a sequel or some other kind of follow-up.

Wow, that was a very unique story. At first I thought the group (Paul, Cat and Alfred) were all Immortals, but having Alfred as a Watcher works even better. It's been ages since I've seen the Cassandra episodes, but having her be Cat really fits in well. I'm sad she had to leave her life, though, but it was inevitable.

I brought her back for a brief encore, but Cat was just a brief footnote to Cassandra's life, a fun personality she used when she wanted a change, so she's not too upset.

In L&C canon Cat left the show at the end of season 1 - I think in comic book canon they made Cat an unmarried mother at that point, which wouldn't have appealed to TV executives at the time.

Good story.

I like the twist that Bruce is PreImmortal.
Should be a fun story if it ever happens.

Nice twist at the end. Up until that I had assumed that Batman was steering entirely clear of Metropolis in order to keep Superman from penetrating his identity. None of what had occurred until then actually required Batman's or Wayne's presence in Metropolis. I recall the line "you peeked" from some crossover cartoon episode years ago. :)

A highly entertaining and satisfactory conclusion/new beginning. Plus, I loved the kicker about Alfred being THAT kind of Watcher and Bruce/Batman a future immortal.

Awesome story, I liked the way it wrapped up, with Alfred as a Watcher (but still keeping Bruce's secrets) and Superman and Batman meeting up.
