Loved it. Real good solid story without being too cliché. Really feel like I want to know how the father and son relationship works out. But, fear the truth. Real life never does(work out)... But due to this being less than reality I hope you write a sequel!
I usually hate original characters especially Scooby has a baby characters but Alex, not so much thought he was heading in the the Scoobies know everything their for he’ll be a ‘good at everything’ character but it didn’t end up that bad, due too never making him ‘The super hero’.
It was one of those rare story’s that I can’t pinpoint why but it gave me butterfly's at his emotions and in sympathy with him.

Awww, in a way it's too bad that more of the old Xander couldn't be reclaimed - but then again your ending is actually the more logical and less happy happy fluffy fluffy way to go. More realistic if you will if you can say that about fanfic at all. *wink*
At any rate, it was a great story all told and I really enjoyed it in it's entirety.
