That was the general idea, yes. ;) The idea of a random encounter with demon Anya on another planet just wouldn't go away...

Thanks for the review. I don't doubt that it's confusing, it's a piece of one-shot randomness loosely based on the 'Xander goes through the Stargate' plot bunny that ultimately became "Scooby Through the Stargate". I never really worked very hard to make it logical. :) It's essentially crack-fic, if you will.

No, this story does a body good. I like the Anya interlude, I was missing the Sunnydale peeps. The way you cover the characterization in this story = great. I mean honestly, it doesn't make sense that Buffy was the only character to get PTSD over seven seasons. Heck, Willow died in season 2 and she doesn't get to have her great SNAFU moment until season 6 when Tara dies.
Joss was a little bit unrealistic about the scooby's need for therapy/vacation, and I think you cover that very well in this story. :)
