I've been trying to talk myself into getting back into writing for a while now; there just hasn't been a chance with all that Real Life has been throwing at me.

At the moment, I've got two broken vehicles in my driveway, and my best friend is in the ICU at the hospital after having been shot; so the Muse is conspicuously absent.

I do plan on coming back to finish this off once things settle down, it's just been a really rough two years. :-P

This was not at all what I expected it to be. It's like 12 times as awesome. :)

I love the way you've handled Buffy's reaction to needing permission to enter Jean Claude's city. It's something I've never seen before, and yet kinda blindly obvious. Seems like something she would do. And faith would do. And Spike would do. And Jean Claude would do.

Can't wait to see how the baby turns out. (I'm thinking cute) And what they do to get back at the idiot who put out the contract. (Bella or Council?)

I hope your life has calmed down a little. The author's notes made it clear there had been definite unpleasantness fairly regularly for a period.

Having Buffy and Faith move to St. Louis on the sly, and then having the local preternatural community find out from one of Faith's companions was a good twist, and I'm kind of getting a kick out of the way you're just pretty much ignoring discrepancies between Buffyverse and Anitaverse, and letting people mostly come up with their own mental explanation. so, Buffy's in labor? Is the huge amount of blood due mostly to Buffy killing the doctors, or due to the baby? If it's due to the baby, is there Vladness to worry about?

I miss your writing! I've had to find something else to fill my craving for good Buffy fics. When will you come back?! Waaaaaah...Only reason for the low rating is the fact that you haven't updated in forever. You promised an update in November! I'm dying to read more, please?

I am currently working on updating both Blood Ties and Awartho Estel. RL has just been crazy lately, with my family passing various illnesses back and forth between us like the Olympic torch. Hopefully, I'll be updating SOMETHING this weekend.

A lot of it has been written in snippets longhand on notebook paper; it's just a matter of finding the time when no one is spewing any kind of bodily fluid to actually type it up.

And, that's probably way more information than you wanted. Sorry.
