This is the third or fourth time I've read this story, it never gets old. I really don't like Angel and Spike is kinda so-so, but the way you write them they're really good and believable. Thank you for writing and posting this great story.

I read this about a year ago and liked it a lot. Since there aren't that many long stories out there, I read this again. I get so much more reading something for a second time. I love the way you write Dawn, a little mischievous and straightforward in a sneaky way. I also liked the scene in the church where Elliot is losing his faith and Angel talks to him. I think the main reason I liked it was because of the interaction between the characters. Thanks for writing and sharing.

This story was so good. I liked the way you portrayed Dawn and Willow. The whole basis of the story was so inventive and original. Time to read the sequel and the rest of your stories that are completed ... I never read uncompleted stories since most are Never finished ... the authors should post whole stories, or not post at all.
Thanks for sharing this great story. I liked it a lot.

I've avoided reading this fic for some time now. First, I just couldn't picture a Buffy/SVU x-over being particularly interesting. Second, the fact that I can't stand Buffy/Angel and Faith/Spike makes my skin crawl. That said, what I have read of yours, I loved and this fic comes highly recommended and I kind of ran out of other stuff to read so I forced myself to try it. It's been a long time since a fic captivated me enough that I had a hard time not just reading it straight through but this one did. I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the story and am very glad I finally took the time to read it. The fact that you didn't really shove any of the 'ships down our throats other than Willow/Goren helped, I'm sure. The only negative I would have is that at times it really seemed like you were trying to juggle too many characters.

Really enjoyable read. Since I'm not a big supporter of the Angel/Buffy relationship, I was thankful you didn't focus solely on them; that would've been a turn off. Will check out your other stories as well.

The circumstances of Buffy and Elliot’s discovery of their relationship might be simple, but sometimes simple definitely works, and Buffy’s initially-awkward attempts to bond with Elliot’s family helps to establish their opinions on each other very well- particularly with her thoughts that he’s better than Hank because he actually WANTS to be with his family, rather than just spending time with them when he can spare a few moments-, even if I think that the initial introductions were all a bit abrupt.
Subsequent character bonding moments such as Dawn and Maureen’s near-rape experience are interestingly done- particularly with Whistler’s revelation about Dawn and Maureen’s connection taken into account-, and while the twist with Travers and the Council’s attack was a bit hard to understand at first- I still don’t entirely see why the government needed to ‘abduct’ Angel, Spike, Wesley, Giles and Faith when Angel and Giles would have been enough given Angel’s direct contact with the Initiative-, it certainly made an effective way to get everyone into the same city; I just wish that Travers had lasted a bit longer (And that his plan made more sense; ignoring Angel’s soul and treating him as Angelus is one thing, but acknowledging that there’s a difference and ACTIVELY TRYING TO UNDO IT is something else altogether)...
Still, the conclusion was definitely touching, I’ll give you that.
