A crossover you don't see very often -- and a really great way to eloquently prove to the girls that Xander is anything but a zeppo. Xander as a character has faults, as do all of them, but the whole 'fray adjacent' thing really burned me up especially since Willow was in on it & could offer nothing but hacking and weak witchy powers at the time. Another reviewer says they doubt Xander would leave the scoobies, I disagree. given the opportunity to actually be trained and taken seriously, he would with the caveat that he could return if needed.

I felt the same way about that episode, which is why I wrote the story. I hadn't, at the time, intended to do a follow up, but I did write one, of sorts, called Rumble in my BTVS/Roswell series. I like showing Xander as a strong independent character and do so when I can. He was then and remains today one of my favorite characters.

*grins* There are many things that just aren't crossed other with Buffy enough, and "Dusk Til Dawn" is one of those things. Of course, I realize that the "Dusk" vampires are slightly more impressive than the Buffy vamps (i.e. more powers), but as you proved with this fanfic it can work.
I'd love to see a sequel to this that involved Xander leaving with them (images of Xander and Seth are dancing in my head), or by the same token I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel where in at least Buffy and Willow treat Xander better.
Good story, actually awesome story!

Of course these days its almost impossible to imagine George in the role, but it was such a fun movie, and this story does a great job bringing in that sense of fun while highlighting Xander's contributions.

really like this xander, much more IC then super xander, the fact you made him able to kick ass while being human is even better, hope for more of your works soon :)
