I've said it before and I'll say it again, this is truly my favourite story. I think one of the hardest thing about writing fics where a character has reversed in age is capturing voice and Dawn at five is just too bloody cute. Absolutely perfect. I think this fic is tied with Inevitable for my fave fanfics.

I think I’ve got to begin by making an apology I’ve had this story on my recs list for ages and I’m only now getting around to reviewing it.

I’m not quite sure why you feel the need to tell us Doc manages to take Buffy with him when he falls off the tower, but I guess it’s better to ere on the side of caution.
I like the line She was the Slayer's sister and that meant she had to be stronger than she knew.
Dawn’s emergence into the graveyard and meeting with Anita is extraordinarily well written and you’ve more than earned the mega angst award. In fact I’m not sure mega is an adequate superlative. I’d go so far as plundering other languages. Uber maybe? Anyway you did a wonderful job of portraying Dawn’s fear and confusion and her initial suspicion of Anita. Claudia’s initial suspicion of Dawn was a nice touch. The pacing was spot on. I thoroughly enjoyed the beginning of this story.

I don’t know whether you want readers to point out typos or not but here’s one: Did she survive her fall? How abut Spike? Willow? Xander?

While your writing is always damn good, I've been checking in on this story and 'If You Go Into The Woods', 'Inevitable' and 'Switchback' for ages, in hopes there might be an update this time or the next time or... They're all simply too good to be abandoned. Please. Please. Please.

I absolutely love this story. The only thing that would make it better would be a update( please update you story) other then the lack of update-y-ness you story is superb the word flow and the plot is compelling, it's all around great.

An awesome story, a few hilarious lines that I couldn't get over for a few minutes in there, and your dipping into Nathaniel's past just about broke my heart... I'm a guy, but I've got a thing for the sappy cute.

When you had the caretaker take Dawn to the side for a minute I thought for half a second she was going to ask Dawn if she had a wish. But I guess that would have been too easy an out if Dawn had paid attention there.

D'aww! Little Dawnie is so very-very Dawn-ish and cute! I like the end of the chapter, but the clifhangerness of it--implying more story but almost zero hints as to what's happening next is extra evil, Mhal. I'm caught between squeeing and glaring.
