Review of chapter "Chapter 7:“Láta okkur gera the tími vinda aftur!"" from maxthehobbit
Review:
This is the best story in the series, at least so far. I think Kennedy had good reasons for wanting to stay in the other world. In my mind, Thor left the girls to go topless just to please Jack. I lived in a crude world for two years, it's called Turkey, water about two hours a day, same as electricity ... why they have elevators (lifts) amazes me since they rarely have electricity to use them. But you get used to it, well except for walking up six flights of stairs, hopefully things have changed since I was there in the late 70's.
Thanks for another enjoyable read.

Having lived in enough fields I prefer to only go to 'civilised' places these days!

Cheers.

This is way cool... and waaay too funny, I must say.
How come I haven't read it before??... thanks for the repost =D.
By the way, the WRCE-MMPM... also know as the Rosenberg-Stargate-of-way-too-long-name; got anymore plans about it.???

See ya!!

Thanks for the nice review.

The trouble with TTH is that most stories get lost in the system after they drop off the 'Latest' page. One way of getting 'round this is to post over a long period. And another is to make them part of series so that when people read a new story in the series they might get drawn to the older ones.

There are no plans to do any Will&Ken stories set in umBongoland in the near future,,,but it might happen eventually. At the moment I'm writing the concluding Seattle Slayers stories and then I'll be able to consentrate on other stuff.

In the meantime try 'The Pure Hellmouth of St. Trinians'.

All the best,
DaveT.

Well done Well Done!! Thank you.
Comments from author:
Thank you for saying so, have a vague idea about writing some more 'Little-Tree' and 'Ken-de' stories. Sometime, in the distant future!

Absolutely fantastic. :-D I loved Thor's solution, which was perfect all the way around. And I'm also glad that you showed Will and Ken walking into their afterlife. COOLNESS!

Thanks for sharing. :-)

Review:
Hah - great story as usual. I particularly liked the umbongan nomenclature. My only small criticism is I thought Thor seemed a bit to human rather than his usual serene self; I don't think he does a lot of exclaiming. Also, there is (sadly) no way he would have got away with that 'all my manufacturing units are busy' excuse in a million years!
Comments from author:
Hi the umBongon Nomenclature, as you call it, is just a way of me not having to make-up silly names for things that no-one would understand anyway...I think it works.

Ah Thor...yes...actually I agree with you! In my defense I have to say that I've thought for some time that O'Neill is having a bad influence on him!

The manufacturing units thing; I think Carter has fallen for even thinner excuses before. But this is the problem when you want to use highly advanced civilisations in your fic's. Thinking of reasons they can't do stuff!

Thanks for your reviews.
All the best,
Dave T.

ARGHHH! A great finale, but the Village People? I thought you were supposed to use your powers for good, not evil! Can't wait for your next installment. (BtVS/SG1/DS9 - Temporal Affairs sends field agents back to investigate the Paradise incident and clean up evidence of the Roswell affair?)
Comments from author:
Let me say first that I'm not a Village People fan! I blame it all on a misspent youth...and middle-age and too much beer(Odd concept that 'too much beer') and having far too much time to think as I walk to work in the mornings.

All the best,
Dave T.

Review:
Wow that was really a wonderful ending. And quick question, was this ending the ending for Will and Ken that the little girl in the mall saw for them in 'Wierdness in Seattle' cause that popped into my head. Oh and last question was this like the last of the series cause it sorta seemed like Godd-bye, but it was a GREAT good bye either way.
Comments from author:
Hi Erica,
It was Little-Tree and Ken-de who died of old age(933SR being the same year as 2007CE). Willow and Kennedy are still going strong. I've a few more adventures for the girls to go on, but I think that'll be it. There's the relationship between Jack and Buffy to look into! Plus a few other things.
Now Maia and her predictions. Predictions can be tricky things so maybe it was maybe it wasn't!.

All the best,
Dave T.

Some more Rocky Horror / Buffy trivia for you - Anthony Head & Amber Benson both sung in VH1's 25 years of rocky horror concert as Frank & Janet.
Comments from author:
I didn't know that.
I only found out about the VH1 thing (if it's the thing I'm thinking of) after the event. Which is really annoying cos it was just down the road from where I work!

Review:
Oh I am just loving this. Just as much as your other Willow/Kennedy fics.

Have to say I cracked up when I got to the notes at the end and saw that the 'spell' was the The Time Warp in Icelandic. That was just wicked. And have to say I agree wholeheartedly on your opinion of Greek deities. As I'm rather into Greek Mythology...and egyptian... and celtic is a close third. they don't seem to mind us mere mortals as much that's for sure.

Can't wait to see more.

edit: and i'll just say thank you for putting a different song in my head. as i've had 'Seasons of Love' stuck in my head... which isn't so good when you only know one line.
Comments from author:
Thanks for the nice review.

Check out 'The Washer at the Stream' I think her names Badb or something. Anyway, she's one of three rather bloodthirsty goddesses. When I read about her I thought, 'These are the girls for Willow!'

As for the song thing...We live to serve!

All the best,
Dave T.
