Oooo, cool! I like that Giles couldn't fanthom why Daniel would already love his job with the Air force. I hope Daniel decides to moonlight, though it sounds like he may be ascended at the moment. I can't help but think of a Giles/Sam pairing, either. Don't think I've ever seen that before.

There's a variation on a Woke up in Vegas fic with the two of them. I don't get it; there's a whole section at tth for Giles/Janet, but not many Giles/Sam fics. You'd think the main character would get more than the supporting character, but oh well.

I'm not quite sure where this story would go from here, which is why I made it open-ended; it's done for the forseeable future while I concentrate on other fic.
