So glad Wes survived and Connor/Daniel never had a horrific childhood with Holtz, but I was a little surprised that Daniel told Wes he was RIGHT about the translation (I guess Wes must've called Daniel in the previous timeline BEFORE Angel confronted him in his hospital room and told him that Sajahn had admitted to fabricating the whole 'father will kill the son' prophecy, since the real prophecy was about the son being the one destined to kill Sajahn). Oh, well! With no grown-up psycho Connor and no Jasmine this time around, at least Angel and Co. didn't get roped into running Wolfram and Hart . . . I assume. :)

I still really, really stubbornly believe that the "corrected" prophecy was a true one too, since if you rewatch the end of season 4 Angel did, in fact, appear to kill Connor before going back to take Lilah up on the Firm's offer. I thought that was actually a really clever and painful bit of irony, for it to prove true after all, after everything; and just the sort of joke the Powers That Be of the Buffyverse would let stand (that an alteration to a True Prophecy would only "take" because it was a True Prophecy, too).

And... yeah, since Connor didn't end up a teenage psycho, basically the entire rest of the Angel plots bar monster-of-the-week stuff just... disappeared. =)
