Ah, finally finished all the stories in this verse. I really like what you've established here; even the slow build up of other crossovers is working out well. Gotta say, though, that this last story doesn't make a lot of sense. How did Zack go from being with Giles on his trip to back with the gang? What happened when Xander met John? These things got forgotten or re-written it seems... hope you still have plans to finish this. I'd like to see what happens when the Initiative comes to town with the X's around, and, personally I think keeping Zack (any maaaybe the others in their unit) around would make things interesting. Even Joshua and the others- a place like Sunnydale or LA would be perfect for the Nomlies to live in.

This is still a good read. I wish that you could maybe finish it some time, maybe a new story or three? Hope to see some more.

I just found this series, and I've read it straight through. I've been riveted. You've done a wonderful job of keeping everyone in character while allowing them to learn and grow. I hope your muse leads you back here...

I have some thoughts on continuing, I have to write them out in pen and paper first before I sit at the computer. Also, I have a jumble of 5 stories in my head at the moment so I have to sift through what's what.

Is Sandoval from Earth Final Conflict?

Agent Ronald Sandoval (Von Flores) is from Earth Final Conflict.

Agent Richard Sandoval (Fulvio Cecere) is from Dark Angel... okay... so I have to make a few corrections. Anyway... Alternate Universe... totally different person with the same name. Hmn, I wonder what will happen when/if Xander meets him.

The chapter is a fine continuation of the story, but there are a couple of things I noticed.

First was a typo, "Sandoval said and waited." "Said" was probably meant to be "sat."

Second was that the story "confirms" a single religion as True with others False with the church scenes. There was something similar with another installment of the series with the Hindu cult trying to end the world ...

Basically, my problem is that a value judgments are made of Hinduism and Christianity through the portrayal of the religions in this story series. That alienates readers who do not subscribe to beliefs directly in line with the author. Particularly since Hinduism is not a dead religion, and Christianity is not the only religion of the readership. I would greatly prefer a more ambiguous role of Jesus and whatnot. With the current role of religion in the story, my interest as a reader is waning.

Okay, I can understand your point of view about religion... and you're probably right.

I'm gonna go back and write ambiguous... which I hate to do. But there is a reason that they are "talking" with the Universal Being.

I don't believe that one faith is the right faith.

I'm not trying to alienate anyone, offend anyone or say what faith is the correct path... as more than anything religion is a very tricky subject.

Very cute chapter. I liked the resurgence of humor in this one. I'm patiently awaiting more chapters that are related to the main plot.

P.S. This next chapter is difficult for me to write. I've gone through several different drafts already, don't like any of them.

Tried to put it in the first, third and fourth chapters, didn't like the composition. Will try to work it out tonight.

P.P.S. I know, I'm messing with the continuity of the Highlander episodes with this next chapter. I apologize to those of you who are sticklers of accuracy to the Highlander gendre... but think of how they messed up the continuity with BTVS... Originally, Angel and not Drucilla was Spike's sire, then they changed it.
