Oh, Buffy :( I know this is a Xander-thing, but I'm All About Buffy at all times, and she's really going 'The Wish' here, isn't she? I guess the ID4-verse has more in common with the Wishverse than not. Enjoyed this muchly, a slightly different (yet the same) approach to WttH that is more than welcome. I wonder if Flutie gave her the same speech here -- I doubt it! You're making me get out the VHS copy of ID4. Again. The last time I did that was when I realised Adam Baldwin was in the film.

I don't know if I reviewed the previous Buffy ID4 fics (sorry!) but I enjoyed them, too. I just want to give her a hug here. (I'll be sympathetic to Buffy NO MATTER WHAT!)

Another very cool update. I like the logical way your universe is branching off from the Standard Buffyverse. Will the Scoobies still gather and kick demoninic butts? Maybe with Xander as leader? I hope you write more as I really like your series.

The story is confusing but has potential I am eager to see where you take this. Is Agent Winter someone you created to get Buffy into the government or was there an actual Agent Winter.

Agent Winter *is* Buffy. It's her "public name".

(AFAIK, there was no such person in the movie).
