You finished there! That is just getting to the best part! I'm glad to see that there is another story in this series. I'm off to read it now. I liked the banter between the characters, when they don't have all the information their various backgrounds don't make sense so I am glad to see they were each suspicious in their own way.

Overall I like this story much more than Astral Anne, but having them all meet up like that is NOT an ending. : ) I hope you get around to finishing it one day.

The end?!?!! Come on, please. Act 4 was not fitting for an end. Rather, the author provided a great cliff-hanger. To expect readers to think "Oh, okay," is not proper ethics. So, to the author, please take a look at your reviews and make us readers happy!

This was fun to read. I'm glad that there is a sequel to this story already posted. I like how you draw out the story. I hope that when you do disclose more of each others back grounds that it is done equally as slowly. This is an intriguing series and I look forward to reading more. Take care. :-)

Love that you're continuing this with the next story, and I have to say I'm not surprised that Buffy's aim is a bit off with modern weapons, considering that the much greater velocity ought to mean that there's less need to correct for altitude loss in the projectile. Or maybe it's something about being near the Stargate that's affecting her Slayer powers?

For a moment there I did a good impersonation of that silly twit Ruby Rod from "The Fifth Element", until I saw that there was another story already in the works. Whew!
Excellent chapter! And it answeres the question of whether or not Daniel and Buffy would recognize each other.
