Really enjoying this story. A bit different and enjoyable.

Though I'm not as thoroughly up to date on the "Star Wars" books as I used to be (I think the last ones I read were Barbara Hambly's CHILDREN OF THE JEDI and PLANET OF TWILIGHT, and I'm not even exactly sure about those titles), and my memories of the old animated "X-Men" series have tended to get overlayed by the films, I'm really enjoying this.

With every chapter, my memories of the old series are coming back (Rogue's a grownup, Logan's gruffer and shorter but still the most fascinating guy ever, Xavier doesn't sound so much like Patrick Stewart, etc.), and I'm recalling how much I enjoyed the continuing story arcs and the stand-alone episodes (like the classic one introducing Nightcrawler and addressing Logan's search for faith).

I hope you'll be able to continue to update this, whenever your schedule permits.

Actually, I'm not sure yet. I'm planning on referencing other Star Wars characters, maybe having Jaina visit them through the Force "I, Jedi" style, but I'm not sure if I'll actually bring other characters directly into the story.

I have a bad habit of starting fan fics before I think the plot all the way through...Actually, I do that with original stuff too....You know, this could be why I spend so much time on rewrites. *wonders off to contemplate changing writing styles*

Thanks for the compliment and spelling correction. I like doing fan fiction as a way to work on dealing with new types of characters or situations. It's good to know I'm pulling it off somewhat. And, I've had trouble finding my source books. Star Wars spellings are always a little tricky otherwise.
