With the supernatural activity low in Sunnydale, Faith goes to Sunnydale High School Library to find something adventurous to read. When Faith comes across " The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" book and makes a wish to become a hobbit, a wishing demon sends her to live the life of Hobbit in the Shire and also to help the ringbearer to destory Sauron and his one ring.
As Faith is looking through some old books in the Sunnydale High School Library, she comes across “The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Rings” book and makes a wish to become a Hobbit and is sent into their world as a Hobbit Slayer.
