Originally, this series had only two stories - the completed "Shadow's Waiting" and the incomplete "Shadow's Hunting". I am, unfortunately, blocked on the second story and overflowing with ideas for other stories that clearly fit into this particular BtVS universe variant.
First, I rebooted the vampire/Slayer origin mythos with "Lilith's Daughters", a story I wrote several years ago after a discussion with
phoukabro about how much I disliked the canon origin. Buffy is supposed to be a symbol of female empowerment.
Second, I began a Xander-centric story that brings the Slayers together in the new Hellmouth of Cleveland. Each chapter is a stand alone story, but I felt that they worked better as a sum of the whole instead of discrete parts.
Third, I brought Jenny back. Selfish and self-indulgent of me, I know. Deal with it.

I never got to watch
Angel, so for me, the story ended with Buffy Season 7. I've long been a fan of L&O: SVU, but my work schedule made it impossible for me to keep up with the last couple of seasons.
So certain things remain forever fixed in my head. The Scooby gang left the ruin of Sunnydale and relocated to the one place that made sense: Cleveland, the only other Hellmouth in North America. The spell cast to empower all potential Slayers was not instantaneous. Only those of age to become the Slayer when Faith died were immediately called. After that, like a pond ripple spreading out, older women and younger girls were called into their power.
Buffy, Willow, Xander, and Dawn remain with their team, but they each have their own path to walk. Giles no longer has the luxury of being just a Watcher. He is now the only surviving member of the Council, and the responsibility of reviving it and training all the new Slayers rests primarily with him.
In New York City, the dedicated detectives who investigate sex crimes are members of an elite squadron, the Special Victims Unit. Olivia Benson is one of them, and she is driven to protect the innocent and bring the perpetrators of violence to justice. Her partner, Elliot Stabler, is a man of deep convictions and even deeper control of the rage he must master every time he is confronted with the brutality any predator is capable of. Their team members, Odafin Tutuola and John Munch, work side by side every day, and their captain, Donald Cragen, ensures they get what they need to do the job.
It takes one monster, a killer of terrifying power, to bring these two worlds together.
An alternate origin to the Slayer mythos
