This started off as a 145 word drabble and quickly spiraled into 1000+ word story and following sequels and prequels. As of now there are five stories, three of which are with the Ninth Doctor, and two that are post-Dawn leaving the Doctor. There will be forays into Torchwood (Jack), the time between her departure and the events in 'Doomsday', and the time in between (including the Year That Never Was), and into series 2 of Torchwood (altered!verse, of course) and series 4 of Who (kind of).
Before Rose, Jack, Mickey, Martha, and Donna there was a girl named Dawn Summers. And while traveling with him nearly killed her, being without her Doctor was nearly a fate worse than death.
He wasn't normal. Neither was she. A mystery creature attack throws them together.
