Xander was so not happy. In-fact if him and happy were in a room with all of Xander’s other emotions happy would be on the other side of the room with joy, calmness, and excitement. Xander was unhappy. He felt betrayed and put out.

Plopping down into a lawn chair Xander checked his fishing rod. He was trapped on a fishing boat in the middle of the pacific ocean courtesy of Willow. Willow had said he was working too hard and that if he wouldn’t take a vacation she would make him. Growling Xander threw a donut in the water.

The boat Xander was in was magical. It was a secret project Willow had been making for Xander. The boat was twenty-seven feet long, and it looked quite average. But the inside was different. Before Willow had disappeared, she had explained that she had basically put a small dimension within his boat. So the inside was a four bedroom flat, with a pool, and a self stocking pantry. Willow had even made him the lab rat for her magical table. Say what you want and it gives it to you. She had said something about magical batteries . . . and the power of the planets and some shit.

Griping his pole Xander cast it out and watched as the hook sailed through the air. It was a nice day and the weather was perfect. Sighing Xander took a sip of his fruity drink.

Willow had told him to enjoy himself and fish . . . Oh and that he couldn’t leave the boat for more then two days. Every time he tried to leave and get back to the council to help finish the building, forty eight hours later he would pop right back into the boat.

Willow wouldn’t reverse it either. She said he worked too hard. So now Xander was stuck on his two-month vacation whether he liked it or not.

Pulling the line in Xander frowned as a weird pod like egg was hooked on the end. Unhooking it from the line he held the slimy thing in his hand. Going inside Xander went to the table thing. Putting the egg-thing in a bowl of water he gabbed a pan and held it like a shield as he put a hand on the magical white stone table Willow made.

“I want a fish tank full of salt water.” Said Xander as he ducked away expecting the table to blow up as it started to glow bright blue. When he looked up again there was a large fish tank full of pretty yellow and purple fish. Standing Xander placed his hand on the table.

“I want it o-over there. Attached to that wall.” Xander watched the tank disappear again and appear on the wall like it was always there.

Picking up the little egg-thing Xander put it into the tank. “ Bet Giles would like to study you when I get back.” Said Xander as he went to his room to take a nap.

Three weeks later

*Fishing was not all it was cracked up to be. Who said I was relaxing! * Thought Xander as he held onto the railing of his boat. The water was getting rough, it was raining and in the horizon he could see a freaky lightening storm. The Tolley craft was doing well in the water but he was really starting to feel a bit ill.

Yelping Xander staggered into the cabin/house, sitting at the table he sighed. This vacation was just weird. Pulling a beer out of the refrigerator, he walked passed the tank on the way to his room. He had only taken a glance at the tank and promptly spit out his beer.

“ Where the hell did the fish go!!” Looking in the bowl Xander dug in the sand. Maybe the magic-made fish grew legs and left! Moving a hollow log he shrieked like a little girl Xander pulled his arm out of the water with a little lizard on his arm. It was curled around his arm purring, and another one was swimming in the tank splashing at Xander every few seconds.

“Where the hell did you guys come from?!”
