A/N: this isn't much of a story--just 330 quick words

honestly-- I just wanted to request a FFA pairing... sorry

Ronon/Buffy all the way! Come on people!!!!

Rupert Giles had no desire to be in this place. He was in “Stars Hollow” on official council business. For as long as he had been involved with ‘The Council’ he had been on their business. Even after being fired and even now that their headquarters had been destroyed—he was still on their business. He got up in the morning and looked at the neatly organized and color coded calendar (courtesy of Willow) and from sun up to well beyond sun down--he would be working on council business. He knew he easily had the most rewarding job in the world. He was just tired of working and satisfying every concern but his own.

He was sworn to protect this world. And even now, as he walked up the path to the ‘Dragonfly Inn’, he couldn’t turn off his business mindset. So what the inn was picturesque… the town breathtaking… and the weather perfect. He was here to complete a transaction—find the artifact—and leave. So what if as he walked up the path and towards the door, the first woman to really catch his eye since Jenny, almost walked right through him.

Giles dropped like a stone.

“Oh I am so sorry! And you are probably a potential customer! Sorry! Let me help you up and in.”

Giles felt himself led through the door. The gorgeous brunette held him upwards by an arm on his shoulder.

She organized him on a couch and rushed off. He heard her toss a sentence over her shoulder, “Let me get you an ice pack for your skull”.

She returned rather quickly and Giles found himself occupying a couch with a beautiful woman. She placed the icepack against his rapidly swelling temple.

"I am Lorelai Gilmore." She smiled as she introduced herself.

“Giles. Rupert Giles.” Giles said his name and tried to sound as alert as he could.

“So, what brings you to Stars Hollow and The Dragonfly Inn?”

The End

You have reached the end of "Business". This story is complete.
