Dreams

Lily had never had many nightmares before, but now it seems that monsters invade her dreams every night. Sometimes she’s in the dream, fighting against creatures she cannot name. Sometimes she’s a powerless observer, watching some other girl fighting for her life. And sometimes the girl loses. Mixed in with the inhuman monsters she dreams of the day that she killed Aaron Echolls. In some of those dreams his face distorts, his brow grows ridges, his eyes turn yellow. He grows fangs, and bites into her neck.

The strangest dreams involve a weird little man with a plate of cheese.
