Author’s Note: *dithers* This only kinda works for the pairing or the prompt...as at least half the fic is implied. But, I can't NOT post it.

Faith wandered around the Magic Box poking at this and that. She held up a tarnished locket. “What’s this do?”

Anya barely glanced up from the account books. “Magical aid in time of need or something. Doubt it works. Now stop asking stupid questions – I’m busy!”

Geez, Anya was being bitchy. What she needed was a good –

There was POP and a man appeared, stark-naked, in the middle of the shop.

“Faith! What did you DO?” It had sounded angry in Anya’s head, but it came out more like a gasp of delight.

“Nothing, I was just thinking …Oh!” Faith studied the locket, then the man. “Guess it does work.”

The man seemed oddly unphased. “Ladies? Where am I?”

Faith thought fast. “Long story. Why don’t we just step into the back room and I’ll explain, Mister…?”

He flashed a smile. “Captain Jack Harkness.”

With a nod to Anya, he casually strolled to the back room.

“I love this store.” Faith said, tossing the locket aside, shrugging off Anya’s glare. “Hey - you said you needed me to shut up. Just trying to help.”

Faith made a beeline for the back room. What Anya didn’t know, wouldn’t hurt her – right?
