I do not own Doctor Who or Buffy the Vampire Slayer. This is just for fun.
Willow sat in the taxi to Giles’ place and frowned. Sarah Jane, Giles’ new girlfriend was having a friend to stay with her soon. A male friend. That’s all she would say. Giles wasn’t impressed.
When Sarah Jane mentioned it, she said something about him needing someone to look after him. And that she was the only one who could.
Giles, of course, thought that he was an ex-boyfriend of hers, or something. Willow wasn’t sure.
Sarah Jane sat in the library, mobile phone in her hands. She was expecting a phone call of the Doctor. She remembered that night, a few weeks ago. Rupert and Willow had gone to visit some people from the Coven, and she and K9 were on the sofa, watching telly. She heard the TARDIS materialize and leapt up, smiling.
“Doctor!” She shouted, beaming. But when she saw him, her smile quickly disappeared.
“What’s wrong? Where’s Rose?” Although she was afraid she already knew the answer.
“She gone, Sarah, she’s trapped. And it’s all my fault.”
“What? She’s not…”
“No. Not dead. An alternate dimension. There’s no way of me getting there. Of me rescuing her.”
“Oh my God.”
She ran to hug him, and found no resistance.
“Can I stay here? For a while.” He whispered, afraid of what her answer would be.
“Yes, of course. I’d have to ask Rupert, but I’m sure he’s be okay with it.”
“Rupert?” He pulled back and managed a knowing smile.
She blushed. “Yeah, after seeing you again, it spurred me to get back to dating.”
“Fantastic.” Was his reply.
She smiled at the thought. He said he’d be back in a few weeks (for her). Her phone beeped. He’d sent her a text.
Meet me outside The London Eye
She went to fetch her coat.
