Down Time

I don't own either the BtVS characters or the SGC characters. I get no money for this. I get knocked down, but I get up again.


"I don't get it."

Jack winced. "Drink your beer, Xander."

"No, really, General O'Neill, I don't get it. Why are we sitting on this dock?" He slapped his neck, and looked at his palm, making a face before he wiped it across his thighs. "This dock, out of cell phone and wifi and even satelite television range, which seems to double as a mosquito buffet? There's perfectly good chairs inside the cabin, which also has beer and snacky foods."

Jack tipped his sunglasses down and gave Xander The Look. "We're fishing."

Xander was quiet. For exactly four seconds. "Didn't Major Carter say that there's no fish in this pond?"

"Just... shut up and fish."
