Bananas Foster a la Atlantis

Short, short version: Not mine. No money. Ew, still-beating heart!

"When did we get bananas?"

"Don't talk with your mouth full, Major." Rodney admonished. "And they're not bananas. They're some weird root vegetable that grows on the mainland."

John swallowed noisily and scooped up another massive spoonful. "I don't care what it is, it's delicious."

"And the roast beast for dinner last night--"

"It was so tender," John wiped his mouth with a napkin and leaned over conspiratorially. "I heard he made sandwiches for the botanists who went to M4X-754, and even the vegetarians loved them."

"So we're agreed?"

John nodded. "Andrew is vital to the mission here in the Pegasus Galaxy. We must keep him here, even if it means trading you to the Watcher's Council."

"HEY!"
