Carrying in the day’s mail, Dawn asked, “Who ordered a video cassette addressed to ‘SlayersHero’?”

Andrew’s face lit up. “My Firefly tapes!” he yelled.

“‘SlayersHero’?” Spike asked.

“Firefly?” Dawn asked.

Andrew was enthusiastically babbling. “It’s this great new sci-fi show that just got canceled and I couldn’t watch it when it was airing so some Browncoat — that what the fans are calling ourselves — promised to mail me the episodes he taped. Sort of a late Christmas present.”

With raised eyebrows, Spike repeated, “But ‘Slayer’ s hero’?”

“That’s just my name on the O.B. — that’s the official Firefly board.”

“The joys of online geekdom,” Xander explained. “Every nerd gets to pick his own fantasy name.”
