The Cemetery Has a Vacancy

Disclaimer: I don’t own either BtVS or Supernatural.

Notes: This is set before the beginning of Supernatural when Sam was still in college and probably in season four of Buffy.

Summary: Dean encounters his first vampire.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dean grumbled to himself as he hung up the phone after talking to his father.

"Sam this, Sam that," he mocked, screwing up his face in disgust. "Sam goes to some fancy college, tries to earn himself a fancy degree and suddenly that makes him the cat's meow? No fancy college degree is going to save him when he gets attacked by something supernatural."

Rolling his eyes, Dean glanced around one of the many cemetery's in Sunnydale, California, and groaned when, almost as if his words were prophetic, something supernatural attacked him.

Dodging out of the way, he tried to pull out his gun, which inconveniently got stuck, when he saw what it was that attacked him. It was a normal looking guy.

"Hey, I've got no problems with you, man," Dean said, holding his hands out in the universal gesture of peace. His gesture was ignored, however, when the guy's face took on a bumpy quality and he grow sharp teeth. "Shit," he said, cursing his luck. "A vampire."

Just then, a blur tackled the vampire to the ground. All Dean saw was long blonde hair and a pair of nice legs. Soon, the vampire was dust on the ground. The girl stood up, and Dean grinned appreciatively. That is until she opened her mouth.

"You shouldn't be in the cemetery in the middle of the night. Dangerous gangs roam Sunnydale."

"I can take care of myself," Dean protested defensively.

The girl rolled hazel eyes and turned to leave. She stopped and shot over her shoulder, "The cemetery does have plenty vacancies, y'know." Then she turned back and continued walking. "Tourists," Dean heard her mutter in disgust.

Shrugging, he continued to find the amulet his father sent him there for. As soon as he got it, he was getting the hell out of Sunnydale and away from snarky females.
