“You know, one of your bosses looks like this vampire I used to know?” Dawn Summer’s asked nonchalantly, trying to hide a smirk.

“Whoa there, science boy, not trying to put down your life’s work here, just stating something,” Dawn said, going back to the book she had been reading. Dawn paused then put the book back down. “And, hey, if you guys plan to start excavating demons you might want to get it into your head that such things exist.”
“Dr. Brennan hasn’t confirmed that the body we found was…d-demonic. It was your people that started pushing that.”

Suddenly the door opened. “Hey Dawnie, I need you t-Woah, to much skin!” Xander shut the door behind him like he’d been shot at. Dawn let out a laugh.
Zack rolled over so he was leaning on his elbow and facing Dawn. “You need to start locking the door when I come to visit. That was the third time.”
“He’ll get over it,” Dawn said. She then leaned down, placing a quick kiss on Zack’s lips before propping herself back up with her pillow and diving into her book up again.
