Daddy ...??

Apologies for the delay in adding anything to any of my stories - I will certainly try to ensure the works in progress are completed and not to start on anything major until (hopefully) I manage this.

Disclaimer: No-one is mine, I didn’t make them up and the characters and the universes they normally live in belong entirely to their creators and respective television companies (I assume).

All I will admit to doing is taking these characters and their universes and mixing things up a bit. Hope you enjoy.

As this is an AU story, some of your favorite characters or events will probably not appear or be mentioned.

Dates and chronologies used have been mainly taken from Wikipedia and cross-referenced against the various Star Trek reference sites - some dates contradict each other, so I have chosen to use those which recur most frequently.

Willow lay in bed trying to sleep. Usually the whir of the engines calmed her but not tonight.

WAS it possible??

Her mind ran back over all she had learned and wondered perhaps if she had been naive not to have noticed, or considered even in her wildest imagination??

She smiled slightly as she thought back a few hours - she had always thought Captain Janeway was formidable but seeing her stare down the Klingon and not flinch as she sent plates flying in her direction was a sight to behold.

She eventually gave up on sleep and decided to do a list of known facts.

1. Zefram Cochrane had disappeared.

2. The change in appearance of Klingon's over a couple of centuries.

3. Brow ridges, brutal rituals, food with blood.

4. B'Elanna's reaction to seeing a sketch of Angel and Spike in game face - her first sight of vampires as she had never participated in Tom's original holoprogramme.

5. Disappearance of all vampires from Earth, believed extinct according to Nathaniel Harris's journal, and his subsequent re-enrollment at Star Fleet Academy.

Was it possible that somehow vampires, or a vampire, had forced Zefram Cochrane to fly them away from earth?? That they had found a race they were able to procreate with? That they couldn't turn? And were somehow able to assimilate and blend with the native population? Was Spike or Angel (or vampires as yet unknown) still alive out there somewhere? Willow didn't know whether she should laugh or cry.

She thought she understood how B'Elanna felt - suddenly everything you thought you knew about your life, your world, had turned upside down (like hers when she met Buffy). Willow thought B'Elanna would be all right once the shock wore off.

But what exactly did it all mean?

And could it even be true??

The End?
