Cult of the Week - Anne, Bigby (Fables)

Title: Cult of the Week
Rating: G
Fandoms: BtVS/Fables
Word Count: 200
Fic-For-All Pairing: Anne (Chantarelle, Lilly), Bigby (Fables)
Summary: Some people never learn.

Anne had made some dumb choices in her life and she really thought she was over joining cults.

But PWP, People for Wolf Preservation, had seemed really nice. All brother this and sister that and lots of hugs.

So what if they put on white robes, wandered around the woods, and chanted under the full moon.

They had summoned the spirit of the Great Wolf, but obviously they weren’t expecting an answer in the form of an enormous black wolf appearing in the clearing.

Their circle broke apart as various members took off, screaming, towards the tree line.

Running like hell had been her plan, until her ankle had found its way into hidden divet.

The pain was terrible, but it was nothing compared to the feel of t warm breath whuffing at her, making her robes flutter.

“They’ve left you. Let’s get you some help, little one.”

She scrambled to her feet, but it didn’t seem in any hurry to eat her.

It slowly sank to his belly and waited for her to climb aboard.

As she watched the trees whiz past, Anne thought maybe she’d finally joined the right cult.

Or she was lunch.

She wasn’t quite sure.
