Xander was unimpressed, unamused even. To be frank, he was the sunny side of disgruntled heading straight towards the far depths of blood red rage that had been likened, on the three previous occasions he had gotten truly pissed off, to a thermonuclear device going off.

Rayne had disserved his beating up, there was no question of that, starting off with Halloween costumes and what the pillock did to Giles and going straight through to hiding band candy in Dawn’s pockets on her prom. No, Ethan really truly deserved what he got.

Why Janus couldn’t see that…

Well, okay Xander had to grant that a ‘God’ was supposed to favour his servants but this…

This was unholy in the truest sense of the word.

Okay, so he was well aware that after Anyanka D’Hoffyrn was annoyed with him but Xander had to be frank, he didn’t see this one coming. Who would have thought that a high ranking demon and a God would bond over him?

Who would have thought that the two would have decided to stand united against him?

And for heavens sake… who would have thought they would have chosen Andrew as their champion?

Of all the blasted…. Andrew, the original geek, the only person Xander would have admitted was a worse geek then himself. Well, it did explain his current predicament he supposed, I mean, what person other then a true Geek would wish this on anyone?

Snarling with fury, Xander paced the eerily familiar and highly recognisable confines of the room, hand resting on a small cylinder now attached to his belt.

And wished Andrew had, apparently in excruciating detail, figuring that he was doing Xander, a fellow geek a true favour…

Yes, because Xander truly wished to be away, not knowing how his girls were faring, with no way of contacting them and stuck in what was about to become all out war with all the loveliness that implied, death, destruction, treason, betrayal and the fall of heroes…

“To control your anger, learn you must,”

Snarling, Xander bit off the words he wished to say. Having one’s mouth washed out with soap by a determined Jedi was bad enough… but when said Jedi barely came up to his knees…

Gods, if he ever got home, he was going to burn his Starwars comics…
