G is for Glare

Xander stared at the one way mirror, this was not good. Xander was in deep shit. Who’d a thought saving one Gothic chick from a vamp would have ruined his day so totally? Really, he’d only been walking by the alley when he’d heard a scream, what was he supposed to do? Keep walking? Not his style. So now he had a grey haired marine glaring at him as he stared past the man’s shoulder at the mirror. Xander was sure a normal person would crumble under that glare, but Xander had been threatened by the best…er worst. Heck the glares from Anya had been worse than this. One should never make an ex-vengeance demon angry; it’s bad for your health.

“What did you do with the body?” the marine or Gibbs practically growled.

‘Ooh human vampire type person’ thought Xander.

“What body?” asked Xander “I don’t remember any body…a few dust bunnies maybe but no body.” Gibbs went back to glaring. There was a knock at the door; Xander watched Gibbs snarl and stalked to the door. He yanked the door open to glare at whoever was on the other side.

‘Volcano-man, faster than a speeding villager!’ Xander suppressed a grin.

“Terribly sorry Jethro, can I speak with you for a moment?” asked the man who looked like anyone’s favorite uncle.

‘Jethro?’ thought Xander ‘this guy’s parents really hated him’. Jethro pushed the smaller man into the hallway and closed the door. Xander relaxed back into the uncomfortable chair with a sigh. Friday the thirteenth always sucked.
