The Investigator Investigation
With and irritated sigh Xander asked. "So, why exactly do you want me to check this guy out?"
Gile's response from the other end of the line was equally irritated, "As I've said several times now, this individual seems to have taken part in a wide variety of events and situations that are of national and international significance. We believe there is a possibility that he may be a demon or a sorcerer attempting to gain influence."
"Fine, and why does it need to be me?"
"Because currently you are nearer to his base of operations than anyone else. In addition he appears to have run into a number of femme-fatales over the years and seems to be wary of women, which rules out a good portion of our operatives."
"Alright, alright I'll go. Give me the name and address again." Xander said with resignation.
"He's on the twelfth floor of the Acme Building in St. Paul, Minnesota. His name is Guy Noir."
With many apologies to Mr. Whedon and Mr. Keillor
Guy Noir is a character from the radio program A Prairie Home Companion.
