Severus Snape stared at the broken body of his little girl. Why? Why did it have to be her? Why couldn't he be the one laying there in the coffin?
Voldemort had found out his betrayal, Severus had hidden his daughter away so that she could be safe from his wrath because she was a Half-blood, somehow Voldemort had found out about this and now, his only daughter was gone.
Gone just like that.
How could he let this happen? She was his responsibility.
Severus stared at the coffin with the broken body, his eyes became blank as he dropped the glass from his hand. Blood had been spilling for twenty minutes now. He’d been lying on the ground his eyes starring at the coffin, starring at his daughter’s shell. Finally Severus closed his eyes and stilled. His last words had been spoken only moments ago.
"I’ll be with you my darling” he had whispered, and now he was. Potter could avenge his daughter for him; all Severus wanted was to be a father once more.
