The Age Old Question

Q sat in the mists outside natural time with his annoyance of past millennium The First Evil. The solid being continues his argument, "All I'm saying is that discipline will win the war. In the end and the ability to keep to a command structure is more important than 'special abilities'. It allows for individuals to be sacrificed for the bigger picture."

"You've always overestimate discipline. Wars are won by numbers and brute force not command structure."

"What do numbers have to do with it?"

"Vampires can increase their numbers far faster then any mortal army and easily overwhelm the enemy," stated The First Evil

"True but vampires are the most technophobic beings in the universe. A single disruptor blast from a Bird of Prey would nullify any numeric advantage."

"No, the Klingons wouldn't use disruptor they'd probably think it was 'dishonorable' to use advanced technology against basic weapons. They would insist on a battle field to fight on with a small group of warriors just to make a better song."

"Fine, but all they would have to do is attack during the day and they would have a clear advantage and still be able to sing a heroic opera."

"You know what Q I have an idea as to how to resolve this once and for all."

"Really?" responded Q eager to finally win this tired argument.

"The natural order has been disrupted. I think I can arrange for a world controlled by vampires."

"You do that Firsty and I'll make sure the Klingons find them. And we'll see who wins," with that the two beings parted to begin their interference.

a/n: Yes I know it was a shameless rip off of the astronaut versus caveman argument but it would be an interesting fight.
