His new house was now complete. Xander knew that it freaked out both Willow and Dawn over its outward appearance, but he didn’t care. He stood in the front yard admiring his efforts to re-create an exact duplicate of 1630 Revello Drive right here in Cleveland.

Xander walked through the front door with his eyes closed. Upon opening them, a myriad of memories assailed his mind. He choked on his raw emotions. There was the replica of the dining room table where on that last night Anya fell asleep during Dungeons & Dragons. As he moved through the front rooms, he smiled.

The rest of the home would be for him alone – or for him and his Slayer if he decided to take on that additional responsibility. The front rooms would serve as the Headquarters for Cleveland, but it would also stand as a reminder where it all began – where he, Alexander Lavelle Harris, became more than he ever thought possible.
