Giles never thought he would lower himself to this. An honorable and upstanding watcher would never disgrace himself by paying for a companion for the night. Driving through this part of town was his only recourse for the despair he had felt since Olivia had left and Buffy had been avoiding visiting. Willow and Xander were moving on with their lives as well. No more nights sitting in the library searching for the demon of the week. Giles could finally admit to himself that he was lonely. He had been alone since Jenny's death and Olivia was a very brief respite. Slowly he perused the few brave or reckless young bodies lining up for sale.
A particular dark haired youth facing the other direction aroused Giles's attention. Thick wavy hair brushed tantalizingly over the neck of a tight black shirt. Broad shoulders led to a trim waist and succulent rear. Supple leather pants caressed long legs ending with motorcycle boots. Giles's mouth watered at the vision before him and slowed his aging Citroen angling towards the young man. Giles worried if he had enough money for such a fine specimen. One of the other youths attempted to approach the open window but Giles only looked towards his prey. The young man turned to look casually over his shoulder.
