Giggity

Joe's Note: And in celebration of the CoA nom this got… lesbismoochies!

"I walk a lonely road, the only one that I have ever known. Don't know where it goes, but it's home to me and I walk alone. I walk this empty street, on the Boulevard of Broken Dreams, where the city sleeps and I'm the only one and I walk alone. I walk alone… I walk alone. I walk alone… I walk a…"

There was a brief pause and Cordelia winced as a cane whacked it across the shin. Ugh. The things she did to amuse Kelsey. The brunette backed up a few words in the song and this time Cordelia joined her on the refrain. "I walk alone… I walk a… my shadow's the only one that walks beside me. My shallow heart's the only thing that's beating. Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me, 'til then I walk alone."

Kelsey smiled and reached up to pat Cordelia on the back. "I don't see why you bitch about it so much. You're not THAT bad of a singer."

"Uh huh. You could go on American Idol if you didn't have to worry about explaining how you're blind but not really." Cordelia scrunched up her nose in disgust. "I, on the other hand, am honest enough to admit that I'm not even fit for karaoke. And that takes some doing. I mean, have you heard some of the people who come out when the Bronze does it? Even those losers are better at singing than I am." And damn did it take a lot for her to admit that.

Pausing, Kelsey sighed. "Yeah they are. But on the other hand… they can't keep up with me when I do something like this." Raising her cane, she twisted the top section as she pushed on the tip with her hand, forcing it to telescope down into a rod roughly a foot long. She grinned before jabbing Cordelia in the stomach with it. "Tag! You're it!" Flexing her legs, she leapt up onto the roof of a nearby mausoleum before racing across and jumping to the next, quickly disappearing into the night.

Cordelia sighed and looked around, tapping her fingers against her latex-clad hip. Well… it wasn't like the vampires were out tonight, at least not in this graveyard. And it was a good way for them to exercise their powers…

"Oh, it's on now." Racing along the ground as she followed Kelsey's red-clad figure through the graveyard, Cordelia dodged tombstones and grave markers until she saw an opening. Bringing out the grappler she'd found among her assorted working Black Cat toys after Halloween, she fired it at the edge of the roof Kelsey was about to leap to. The tip dug in and the recoiler activated, yanking Cordelia off her feet and into the air. Memories of swinging through Manhattan took over and Cordelia twisted her body instinctively so she cleared the lip and her momentum carried her up onto the roof… and down onto Kelsey's back. Wrapping both legs around her roommate's waist, she threw her weight back and forced Kelsey to fall backwards onto her. "Gotcha!"

After a bit of wiggling in Cordelia's grasp, Kelsey managed to turn herself so she was staring down at Cordelia. "Looks like." Putting her hands on either side of the taller girl's head, Kelsey leaned down. "What are you going to do now that you have me?"

Cordelia stared up into the white lenses of Kelsey's mask, idly wishing she could actually see the girl's entire face. Actually being able to look into her eyes, even if they were clouded by the magic that had turned them both into superheroes, would have made what she was about to try a lot easier on her. Bringing her arms up to wrap around Kelsey's neck, she tugged the girl closer. "I'm sure we can figure out something."

"I like the sound of that." Kelsey continued to close the distance between them, their bodies pressing against each others' as their lips drew closer and closer together. Cordelia closed her eyes, waiting for the contact when… Kelsey snickered? Opening her eyes, she found that the brunette had abruptly stopped and pulled up a bit. "I'm sorry, it's not funny." She bit her lip before snickering again. "Okay, maybe it is. But, uh, while I'm not THAT busty… between yours and mine, at this angle… I'm having problems."

Well. That effectively killed the mood for her. Cordelia moved her hands to Kelsey's shoulders as she unwound her legs, giving the girl a shove that sent her sprawling onto the mausoleum roof. "Yeah, you've had what? A month to work out the kinks like that? You grab them enough in your sleep, you should know how big they are by now. I can't believe you just… ugh." Rolling to her feet, Cordelia leapt over the edge and somersaulted in midair, landing in a crouch on the grass. "And here I thought girls were going to be better than guys about doing stupid stuff. No, they're just as stupid, just with boobs to push against me instead of a hard-on."

There was a thump as Kelsey hit the ground behind her and then the soft patter of her feet against the grass. "Cordelia! Wait! I'm sorry, I just thought… of all the problems I took into consideration… time, place, Anna, the fact that you were strictly dickly before Halloween… I never even stopped to think about something like that." Catching up, she latched onto Cordelia's elbow and pulled her to a stop. "C'mon, it can't be any worse than that time Devon kissed you against your locker and you managed to get your earring stuck in the grate."

Cordelia shot Kelsey the evil eye. "I thought we had all agreed never to speak of that again…"

"My bad. Still, I'm really, really sorry I laughed." Kelsey pouted at Cordelia. "I've been thinking about this since I met you, even more since Halloween, and then I try it and our combined breasts get in the way? It was just one of those laugh or cry sort of situations and you don't seem like the kind of girl who'd go for the weepy, emo type."

She… had a point there. Sighing, Cordelia turned to face Kelsey. "Okay. One more try, and if you laugh again, you're sleeping on the floor tonight." Kelsey threw herself at Cordelia, wrapping her legs around the taller girl's waist. The position gave her a bit of height advantage and Cordelia felt the brunette's breasts press against the tops of hers and then their lips met.

It really wasn't that different from most of her first kisses, to be honest. The same desperate quality of a significant other (she couldn't just use the word 'boyfriend' now) trying to prove their worth, a body pressed against hers… although in this case, she had a pair of toned legs wrapped around her waist and a decidedly female ass in her hands as she supported Kelsey's weight. Breasts against her own was new too, but that wasn't unpleasant. Quite the opposite, really.

When they finally broke apart for air, Cordelia gasped for air before a smile slowly spread over her features. "Wow. My first girl-on-girl kiss. That was… really nice. Although I feel like we should be doing this in a slow-mo montage with lots of different camera angles and a t.A.T.u. song playing in the background or something…"

Kelsey silenced her with another kiss.
