E is for Escape

Xander would pay good money to see Gibbs’s face when he walked back into the interrogation room and found him gone. Apparently Spike and his fairy powder were good for something or so Xander thought right up until Giles had blamed Xander for ripping his book. Stupid vampire, stupid watcher, you'd think someone with that title would look after their possessions better. Hello, evil vampire Spike with no respect for other peoples personal property, that was so not Xander’s fault.

Gibbs growled, literally growled, loudly too. Harris had disappeared from the interrogation room, the two guards posted at the door knocked unconscious with some sort of powder. Gibbs had been about to go after the man with the full extent of his authority and power, when the $%#!ing President of the United States phoned him on his cell and told him to leave Xander Harris alone. This wasn’t over though, oooh no, it wasn’t over until Gibbs said it was. He’d get Harris another time, another place; or his name wasn’t Gibbs second B for bastard.
