Nevada Desert

A man stood in the desert and looked around. Not a soul insight but then he didn’t expect there to be. That was why he picked this place. He sat down to wait for his trainee to orb in. He had high hopes for this one. Maybe it was because he didn’t think of him just as a Whitelighter-in-training but also a friend.

As the time went by first five minutes and then ten he started to wonder if maybe he was pushing Xander too much. It had only been two months since he had died and most trainees didn’t even try there first solo orb until five. After waiting for 30 minutes he was about to go looking for him when suddenly a wet and pissed off looking Xander orbed in

He glared at Leo and then shock like a giant dog spraying water everywhere. “If you laugh so help you Leo...”

“I won’t laugh but what happened to you?”

“I fell in the ocean.”

“The ocean? What were you doing there? Were in Nevada. There’s no ocean around here.”

Xander glared. He knew he might never live this down. How hard was it to orb from Vegas to the desert. Hell they were in the same state, but could he do it no, he winded up in the freakin’ ocean.
