Prepare the Demons

Timeline: Buffy: Two years after Chosen.

Buffy sighed as she fell into a chair in the main hall of the Cleaveland School for Girls aka Slay High. She had just flown in from Rome. She had to make a quick stop here to do a spell with Faith and Xander with Willow watching over. Then she had to go to South America to do the same spell with Rona and a watcher named Henry with another witch presiding over. She had to do the same spell on every continent that there were slayers. Buffy sighed again. This was going to be a trying week. Luckily after this she got a two weeks vacation barring any apocalypses.


After she nearly fell asleep for the third time, Buffy grabbed a magazine. What in the world was taking Lisa so long to get Xander and Faith? It was some random Cosmos magazine. She flipped through the pages before stopping on a clothing article. She managed to get through the first paragraph before she had to rub her eyes.


When she looked back at the article, it didn’t look like English. But her eyes refocused and she managed to read it.


‘The time has come. I have gathered every demon that I could. We will lead them into battle. And we will be victorious. I am ready.’


“Damn B, you look like you’re about to drop.” Faith started Buffy so that she dropped the magazine.


Xander picked it up for her. “Why don’t you sleep for an hour or so? The spell can wait.”


Buffy nodded. Maybe some sleep would do her good.
