Second Day of Christmas - Giles/Joe (Highlander)

“On the Second day of Christmas the Hellmouth Gave to Me Two Watchers.”

Giles sat in his usual seat at the bar. After discovering the new Blues bar that had opened in Sunnydale, Giles quickly became a regular. It had good company; interesting discussions and more importantly its beers were cheap.

“Giles, what brings you back here so soon?”

“Hard day at work Joe, needed to unwind,” Giles replied.

“Yeah, I get that. So are you going to tell me what you really do?” Joe asked.

“You ever going to tell me?” Giles replied with a smirk.

But both knew that the other would never find out, it was too weird to explain.
