“I’ll bring you a six-pack from L.A.’s best microbrewery.” Don waited as his teacher decided whether to accept the bribe.

Adam Pierson sighed. “Macleod owns an old dojo near the waterfront. Clean it and I’ll show up so that your brother can watch your ‘lessons’.”

“Thanks, Adam.”

“Families are too much trouble. I told you to just die.”

“If I bring you twelve beers, will you shut up about my life choice?”

“….Possibly.”

“I’ll see you Sunday morning. Please don’t be late or you’ll blow my cover.”
