It would be a lie to say that Sheila and Ira Rosenberg had been keeping secrets from their daughter.

Of course, all parents must keep some things hidden from their children. Who would want to admit to their child that they failed math in ninth grade? Or that they hated the sweater they got for Christmas? Or that they can’t really afford the lifestyle their child is accustomed to? No, all parents have some secrets, and Willow Rosenberg’s parents were no exception; that was not the falsehood.

It would be a lie to say that Sheila and Ira Rosenberg had been keeping secrets from their daughter simply for the reason that there were no such persons as Sheila and Ira Rosenberg.
